From digital painting, hybrid painting, non-painting, and beyond, this exhibition is an experimental exercise in synthesizing the myriad possibilities and challenges that arise from the dissolution of boundaries within the traditional medium of abstract painting. Using vastly layered patterns, morphed imagery, billboard signage, graffiti, and contemporary design these artists offer the opportunity to visually and mentally travel within complex virtual worlds.
